QC Technician

Our client, a global leader in the water, hygiene, and energy technology fields, is currently seeking a QC Technician to join their team on a full-time casual basis. This position is set to commence immediately and continue until late January 2026, with the possibility of extension.You must be available to work a rotating shift schedule, Monday to Thursday (4 x 10-hour days):
- Morning Shift: 4:00 AM - 2:00 PM (3 weeks)
- Afternoon Shift: 1:45 PM - 11:45 PM (1 week)
- Conduct sampling and analysis of raw materials, in-process, and finished products
- Perform wet chemistry techniques and operate basic instrumentation, such as HPLC and FTIR
- Prepare reagents and solutions for testing
- Review and interpret results against defined specifications
- Document and escalate any out-of-specification findings
- Maintain accurate QC records and reports
- Collaborate effectively within a team whilst also working independently
- Must have a current car and license (mandatory)
- A qualification in a scientific discipline or prior experience in a similar role would be advantageous
- Prior laboratory exprience
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, reliable, and self-motivated approach to work
