Flexibility: 2/3 days on siteAbout the Role:We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer with a strong background in IAC to work on a Cloud transformation project.
This is a contract role offering both challenge and stability, with the chance to contribute to a critical government program.Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expertise across the AWS Cloud Platform in a secure government environment
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud operations tooling
- Monitor, log, and maintain alerting systems to ensure platform reliability
- Troubleshoot, optimise, and manage cloud workloads, including backup and recovery
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support cloud initiatives
- Produce high-quality technical operations documentation
- Proven experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer in enterprise environments
- Strong skills in IaC (CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.) and automation tooling
- Expertise in monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting cloud workloads
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- NV1 (or higher) clearance – essential
