About the role:The Principal Policy Adviser supports the delivery of the Workforce Strategy and Planning Branch's interjurisdictional responsibilities. The role will support delivery of a time limited project as part of the implementation of the Kruk Review. The project will identify international best practice in multidisciplinary workforce planning and deliver technical advice for implementation of effective multidisciplinary workforce planning. This will require working with subject matter experts and consultants to develop a technical framework to assist future implementation.The role also contributes to coordination and oversight of the Health Workforce Taskforce (HWT) portfolio including coordinating and leading responses to new and emerging issues and risks relating to interjurisdictional health workforce responsibilities.About us:At the Victorian Department of Health we want a future where Victorians are the healthiest people in the world. Experienced in policy and project management
Able to build successful relationships with people working at all levels and across government departments, including other jurisdictions
An excellent communicator with high level written and verbal communication skills
