- Oversee daily administrative tasks, such as appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out, and record keeping.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and maintain a consistent patient experience.
- Supervise the front desk staff, dental assistants, and other administrative personnel.
- Manage the practice’s financial operations, including petty cash handling and banking.
- Completing tracking reports to assess practice performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff members, including dental assistants and receptionists.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any staffing-related concerns.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
- Optimize appointment scheduling to maximize productivity and minimize patient wait times.
- Ensure the availability of necessary supplies and equipment for dental procedures.
- Coordinate with dental labs and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to maintain a seamless patient flow.
- Oversee the patient care experience to ensure exceptional service and patient satisfaction.
- Address patient concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Implement strategies to enhance patient communication, education, and engagement.
- Maintain a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere in the practice.
- Stay current with regulations and guidelines.
- Ensure the practice’s adherence to all relevant laws and regulations, including infection control standards.
- Prepare for and facilitate inspections or audits as required by relevant regulatory bodies.
- Previous experience in dental practice management or healthcare administration is highly advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or related field (preferred).
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated and willing to learn attitudes;
- A proven track record of punctuality and reliability;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Excellent and demonstrated ability in team management / Human Resources;
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
