Delivering a guest experience unlike any other, paired with lavish amenities, magnificent architecture and refined interiors, Capella Sydney will become the ultimate destination hotel for both local and international guests alike, establishing it as one of the finest hotels in the world.Position SummaryAs a Bartender at Capella Sydney, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dispense bar, which supports three dining outlets within the hotel. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the efficient preparation and of all beverages to our guests.The Role:

Prepare a variety of beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, spirits, wines, non-alcoholic drinks, coffees, teas, according to established recipes and standards.
Support the dispense bar operations by assisting with stock replenishment, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the bar area.
Work collaboratively with the venue teams to ensure smooth operations during peak hours, assisting with tasks such as glassware polishing, garnish preparation, and restocking.
Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, as well as hotel policies and procedures, to maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.
Maintain clear and open communication with colleagues and supervisors to address any issues or concerns promptly.

Talent Profile

Strong knowledge of beverage & cocktail preparation techniques and recipes.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
Coffee knowledge preferred.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Valid working rights in Australia.
