- Actively hunting new sales opportunities to achieve stipulated sales target set by PSA BDP
- Proactive approach to generate leads through various channels such as cold calling, conference, networking events, and referrals to expand customer base.
- Knowledgeable for freight forwarding transportation, contract logistics, and multimodal solution selling.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in the PSA BDP
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including shippers, manufacturers, and distributors.
- Understand customers' needs and develop customized solutions to meet their transportation and logistics requirements.
- Input and timely update of sales activities utilizing CRM system and build up healthy pipeline
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.
- Drive and lead RFQ process
- Tertiary qualifications with minimum 5 years’ sales/business development experience in Logistics/Freight-forwarding: Knowledge in Ocean Freight, Air Freight, Contract Logistics and Value Add Solutions in Logistics Company
- Solid and demonstrated working knowledge of the Freight Forwarding and contract logistics Industry.
- Effective verbal and written communications in English and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate with clients, carriers, other forwarders, vendors.
- Ability to research, identify, tackle, grow and close business opportunities ensuring the needed support from product and operations.
- Results-driven, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Great negotiation, consultative and relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage priorities, be organized, methodical and deal well under pressure.
- Able to work autonomously with support from Sales Leaders.
