- Translate data into meaningful outcomes for our customers
- Leverage your previous experience with data, analytics and reporting
- 12-month contract, flexible location Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne
- Help maintain and further develop a database of Suncorp's complaints resolution data along with associated information.
- Liaise with stakeholders, both internal and external, to understand reporting requirements.
- Develop and maintain management reports, incorporating a variety of internal and external data sources.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand current customer issues and to propose data-based solutions.
- Undertake deep dive analysis into complaints data to better understand drivers of complaints and to propose actionable insights.
- Present the results of reporting and analysis, together with business-related interpretation, in a form which supports strategic decision making.
- Assist in the development of advanced analytical products.
- Document the work undertaken in accordance with good process and data governance.
- Tertiary qualification in a quantitative field or equivalent experience
- Minimum two years' experience in a data analytics related role
- Demonstrable experience with SQL and Python (or another analytics language such as R, SAS or SPSS)
- Handling and manipulating data from various sources (database, Excel, text)
- Analysing customer data to derive insights and recommendations
- Experience with data visualisation
- Advanced use of Excel and experience with PowerPoint
- Superior organisational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
