Job Description:About the Role:Looking for a fully remote role where you can make an immediate impact by delivering and maintaining high-quality service for a growing client base within a professional services firm? This could be the perfect opportunity.We've partnered with a centrally based professional services firm on the Sunshine Coast. While they have an easily accessible office, you'll be able to work fully remotely after your first week. This is a great chance to join a collaborative, supportive, and down-to-earth team with a rapidly growing client base, including a mix of SMEs across various industries, as well as a significant number of self-managed super funds (SMSFs).This role is initially offered as a 3-month contract with the potential to extend.You will report to the Senior Accountant and work alongside an experienced CFO and three Accountants, providing high-quality support to a growing portfolio of clients.You will be responsible for:
  • Preparation of financial statements and supporting spreadsheets
  • Completion of BAS
  • General ledger reconciliations
  • Tax preparation for a diverse client base
  • Maintenance of accurate financial records
  • SMSF services, including tax, financial reporting, and compliance requirements (experience not essential)
Who You Are:
  • CPA or CA qualified, or close to completion
  • Proficient in Xero
  • Background in business services
