Some of the improvements will be implemented directly by you and your teammates, whilst others will be done by external vendors under your guidance.The roleEmpowered by the leadership team, you will define and simplify existing IT and solutions operations and improve overall usability and stability of internal IT processes across the FMH Group and its subsidiaries.You will help to create and deploy standard infrastructure, networks, and solutions that are stable, secure, and fit for purpose.Vendor Management: work with and manage our IT Vendor relationships to ensure robust, efficient and easy to use solutions are delivered to internal customers. Examples of the vendors involved include an external IT provider (O365, desktop/laptop provisioning networking etc), and Salesforce.The role is Melbourne based with flexible work. A mix of remote and two days a week on site at our Melbourne CBD office or other sites around Melbourne. There might also be opportunities for interstate travel at times.RequirementsWho you areMotivated, curious, insightful, and engagedYou focus on security and privacy when implementing new systems and improving existing systems.You are a strong engineer that thrives on solving complex problems across multiple companies, sites, and domains.Your engineering strengths are corporate systems, but you will likely have good networking, both physical and wifi, skills as well.Disciplined in pragmatic approaches, and you champion self-service, automation, and observable infrastructure that is simplified as far as possible.You have an eye for simplifying operational support and enjoy creating solutions that others enjoy maintaining.You are obsessed with the experience of your customers and your teammates. You work to continually improve their lives by rolling up your sleeves and digging in.Attentive to details and willing to dive deep into multiple areas of the business in order to help ensure we fully leverage and improve our internal corporate systems.You have a bias towards delivering results.   • You have knowledge and experience of corporate IT systems such as O365, IT vendor management, CRMs such as Salesforce etc. Ideally you have worked in this space for five or more years.
  • Systems configuration. You are comfortable reading the manual and learning how to configure systems that are new to you and work towards increasing adoption rates of new solutions.
  • You have worked with software engineering teams, vendors, or suppliers before and know how to effectively partner with them and maintain healthy communications between corporate systems and engineering teams.
Reports to the FMH Group Corporate Systems Manager and works closely with the Group CTO ( )Benefits$1,000 per annum to spend on ergonomics kit out or professional development.
