Growing developer builder operating across the Brisbane region Sectors include residential, industrial and commercial projects across fit-out, refurb and new build from $1m to $10m Brilliant company culture and exciting growth and career prospects Excellent opportunity to work for a growing developer builder with a strong order book and great culture. 70% supervisory and 30% on tools and will be the No.1 Supervisor running the site. Our client is an established and highly regarded developer builder who are now seeking an experienced Supervisor/Leading Hand to join their professional and highly experienced team based in Brisbane. Projects you will be working on include residential, industrial, commercial and mixed-use as well as other sectors however residential is their sweet spot. Projects will be from $1m to $10m and will be across fit-out, refurbishment, upgrades and new build jobs as well. There is a really good pipeline of work as well as diversity in projects. Some of the projects they are developer / builder on their own projects and others they are a head contractor. You will be the No.1 supervisor on projects and 70% of your time will be spent in a supervisory capacity and about 30% on the tools as a leading hand. You will be responsible for managing sub-contractors, coordinating site personnel and for the management of onsite logistics, quality, OH&S and keeping the job to short term program. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Coordinate daily works Managing sub contractors and trades Prepare and action defects report Ensuring all work is carried out efficiently and to a high quality standard Monitor OH&S Liaise with Project Manager to ensure construction programme is adhered to Qualifications and Requirements: Trade background ideal Circa 10 years’+ experience Strong communication skills Proven people management skills with the ability to motivate and drive teams Team player who can lead by example Possess a solid work history with long tenure in roles This is a permanent full time position providing a great opportunity to work with a successful and growing organisation who offer challenging work and career progression.
