The opportunityThis is an exciting opportunity to further your skills and experience with a world-renowned OEM. Along with industry leading training and development opportunities you will enjoy:

Based in Kalgoorlie, WA
Working on technically challenging projects
Furthering your skills in a fun and friendly workshop environment
Developing your skills with highly experienced mentors (potential to upskill into a field service / site-based role in the future)
5:2 roster (Monday - Friday) 7am - 5pm (day shift only)
Earn an attractive hourly rate plus super + penalty rates when weekend work is available
Temp to permanent role on the company's books (after a short stint on Marbles books)

The workshop roleReporting to the workshop supervisor and working closely with experienced mechanics you will enjoy working on technically challenging projects which will grow and shape your skills on UG mining loaders, trucks, and drill rigs.

Rebuilds - full, half and quatre life - 75%

Major component change outs
Machinery/ component upgrades
Commissioning & testing

Maintenance, general repairs and servicing - 25%

Your valueYou will have come from a warehousing / parts / stores background and be keen on a hands on role that will involve using tools and cleaning parts

Heavy Diesel trade qualification OR LV trade qualification with relevant heavy experience.
Excellent attitude towards work and safety
High level of workmanship
Looking to further your skills and develop your experience on UG mining machinery
Team player and can also work autonomously
