Join a dynamic team that combines startup agility with corporate backing, where your flexibility and efficiency translate directly into meaningful ownership and growth.As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our streaming services through designing, building and deploying cloud microservices and REST APIs that serve as the backbone to our SaaS platform. You will ensure observability and resilience of deliverables to production and be able to drive any efforts in incident response. Your work will expand the functionality and scale of our rapidly growing product, making a direct impact to customer outcomes.Being an experienced developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions. Additionally, you will help advance technical excellence within the team, mentor junior engineers and lead development efforts. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and be able to thrive in an agile, collaborative, and dynamic space.If you are adept at designing, developing and deploying web services, and like to be challenged, this is the perfect opportunity for you to help shape the directions of OptiView for Dolby.Key requirements & attributes for successful applicants include:
  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or comparable field.
  • 8+ years professional software development experience
  • Professional experience designing, developing and deploying commercial, scalable and secure web services programmed in C#/.NET
  • Professional experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform, Or AzureAbility to understand and contribute to full-stack product needs and requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication and collaborative skills
