This internship role supports skill development in pharmaceutical and clinical care, while contributing to the Pharmacy department and preparing for AHPRA registration. Apply online by submitting your resume and addressing the criteria listed below by providing examples that demonstrate your ability before the closing date.Essential criteria:Qualification: Bachelor/Master of Pharmacy or equivalent degreeRegistration: Registration with the Australian Healthcare Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an internSelection Criteria:Bachelor/Master of Pharmacy or equivalent degree and eligible for registration with the Australian Healthcare Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an intern pharmacist with an ability to rotate across BMDH sites and participate in after hours, weekend and public holiday work as requiredHigh level of clinical pharmaceutical knowledge, and understanding of its application in therapeutic situationsDemonstrated effective written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate with patients and all levels of pharmacy staff and healthcare professionalsDemonstrated problem solving skills and ability to use initiative, in particular related to pharmacy issues and managing allocated tasks and dutiesDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, and independently when required, to meet team objectivesDemonstrated initiative and interest in achieving positive patient health outcomesAn interest in a career in hospital pharmacy, and desire to continue in hospital pharmacy post-registrationCommitment to BMDH and Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) vision, goals and strategies, with demonstrated behaviours which align with the NSW Health CORE valuesRequisition ID: REQ592660
