Our organic beef brand, Acres Organic and Right to Roam, our verified grass-fed beef brand are both packed exclusively at Rockhampton. The plant employs approximately 500 team members with a current processing capacity of 700 head of beef cattle per day, operating 6 days/week.About the RoleJBS Rockhampton is currently recruiting an experienced IT Officer to join our team in a full-time capacity. Reporting to the Assistant Plant Manager, the IT Officer plays a crucial role in the successful operation of the plant. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong knowledge of PC's and Windows Systems and a technical background in computing and/or electronics. The IT Officer will be trained in all aspects of JBS site computing, and will be expected to participate in a rotating roster, 6 days per week (Monday to Saturday) to support our Plant operations.Your key responsibilities will include:

Performing preventative and scheduled maintenance on plant IT assets
Installation and configuration of new equipment such as computer desktops and industrial printers
Installation and configuration of software across a range of platforms
Monitoring, responding and diagnosing all facets of daily IT issues through the plant
Troubleshooting and resolving user issues as they occur
Escalating issues to the broader IT support team whilst maintaining responsibility for close out
Developing effective relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders
Undertaking various reporting and data tracking

About You

Ability to work professionally and effectively within a team environment as well as the ability to work unsupervised
Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills - with the ability to explain technical issues to a non-technical user base
Highly developed time management skills including prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines
Strong attention to detail
Must be able to work effectively in a dynamic, fast paced environment
High standard of computer literacy
Previous experience working with varied IT hardware, Software and Operating Systems
Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and diagnostic skills
Previous experience in a factory or process setting advantageous
