About the roleAs Store Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the success of our Midland store. You’ll provide leadership, direction, and inspiration to your team, ensuring they deliver exceptional service and achieve outstanding results. From coaching and mentoring to overseeing sales, stock and safety standards, you’ll play a key role in building a high-performing, customer-focused culture.Responsibilities includeLead, motivate and inspire your team to exceed sales and margin targetsSet and implement local sales initiatives aligned to company strategyManage stock levels, inventory movement and loss preventionEnsure compliance with Work, Health & Safety standardsDrive team engagement, performance, and development through coachingHandle small and large orders for trade and retail customers (in-store, online & phone)Train and develop team members in product knowledge and customer service excellenceSkills & ExperienceProven experience as a Store Manager (retail, trade or service industries)Background in flooring, hardware, building, or bathroom ware (highly regarded)Strong leadership and coaching skills with a growth mindsetDemonstrated success in achieving and exceeding team sales targetsExcellent communication and people-engagement skillsBusiness development experience an advantageBenefits
