For more information about our company, and the products we supply, please feel free to visit our website at: http://www.robodrill-sa.com.About the Role:The Mechanical Engineering Technician ensures the after-sale service on-site. The Mechanical Engineering Technician will be responsible for:
  • Reassembling Robodrill drilling machines on-site after transportation
  • Setting up and testing the machine before starting
  • Conducting, collecting, analysing, assembling and installing machines in support of the needs of the Mechanical and Civil Engineers
  • Conducting site inspection and maintenance of the machines used in the project
  • Ensuring that plans are followed and completed as specified in the contract provisions
  • Performing site commissioning and starting of the machine with the customer
  • Performing mechanical maintenance, upgrading or renovating of the drilling machines according to safety rules and production requirements
  • Advising the customer on the best way to use the machine
  • Analysing risks and setting up preventive measures
  • Performing training in driving and maintaining of the machines
  • Managing relations with the customer on technical issues
  • Communicating with the French design and technical department in order to ensure the best efficiency of machine use.
Skills and Experience:The candidate must have a minimum of 7 years of experience doing aftersales service on-site, mostly abroad. The candidate must be able to work in full autonomy, and should be highly adaptable whatever the conditions are. You must be comfortable with civil engineering work conditions, especially on tunnel constructions sites. You must be able to speak English and of the following European language - French, Spanish, Bosnian, Croatian, Italian, Hungarian as well as Portuguese. We prefer that the candidate is energetic, entrepreneurial, outgoing and has a positive attitude in life.Requirements:
  • Highly specialised knowledge in the industrial field particularly in the construction of electromechanical assembly and automatic machinery
  • Professional degree in maintaining, engineering, production engineering. In lieu of the degree, relevant and significant experience in the maintenance of electromechanical assembly and automation machinery will be highly considered.
  • We prefer the candidate with proven leadership and/or project management experience of at least 3 years.
