Assurance Lead

- Monitor the management of key commercial and materially outsourced contracts to ensure compliance with agreed service level agreements (SLAs), metrics and regulatory requirements e.g. CPS231, CPS230
- Review Insurance information systems and work practices to ensure alignment with RAC policies and industry standard requirements
- Identify training needs and ensure compliance is upheld in relation to company and legislative standards
- Contribute to the periodic commercial reviews and analysis of in-house and 3rd party Material outsourced contracts and SLA’s to identify improvements
- Consult with the Incident Management team where Incidents are Service related and identify and work to remediate recurring issues
- Negotiate and establish stakeholder SLA standards with RAC contract specialists between service providers and end users
- Monitor and ensure all e.g. APRA standards and or regulatory requirements are met by Insurance suppliers / partners
- Engage with RAC stakeholders to ensure new applications and infrastructure contain required enhancements where appropriate (this can be security related CPS234 or other APRA standards)
- Co-ordinate and drive timely responses to address audit actions
- Work closely with the Risk and Compliance team to carry out Control Assurance testing.
- Demonstrated experience in contract management life cycle with service provision assurance management
- Experience in facilitation and service agreement or contractual performance assessment
- Experience managing and negotiating with internal and external service providers
- IT Governance experience is desirable
- Audit and controls assurance background desirable
- Strong understanding and applied knowledge of APRA standards (CPS231, CPS234, guidelines and relevant legislation
- Exposure to meeting regulatory and compliance obligations
- Insurance or other Financial Services industry experience
- Highly developed communication and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, IT, Project Management or related discipline
