Job Category: Frontline Trades and LabourJob Description:About the role:Downer is looking for a dedicated and energetic Food & Beverage Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality food and service to meet the needs of our client at Roma Mitchell Secondary College, Gepps Cross, while following Downer policies and procedures.Casual opportunity available, you must be available to work Monday - Friday between the hours of 10am - 2:00pmKey Responsibilities:
  • Set up tables/trolleys prior to service and plate meals accordingly
  • Serve food and beverages to students with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Assist in dishwashing, including crockery, pots, pans, and cleaning designated areas like fridges, sinks, and floors
  • Minimise waste and ensure food safety by adhering to State and Commonwealth regulatory requirements
About you:
  • Strong communication skills with a professional phone manner and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to a positive working environment
  • Fast, efficient, and friendly customer service skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow food safety and hygiene guidelines
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
  • Must have Eftpos and use of Digital till systems experience
