The PHISC Group includes: the Communications and Engagement Unit; Web, the Publishing and Data Visualisation Unit, the Pacific Health Information and Classifications Support (PHICS) Unit; the My Health, Information Management, and Metadata (MHIMM) Unit; the Primary Health Care Data Development Unit (PHCDDU) and the Practice Incentives Program Quality Improvement (PIPQI) Unit.The MHIMM Unit works to: support Australian Government policy that My Health Record system data be made available for bona fide research and public health purposes; facilitate record keeping; provides library and research services; supports AIHW's metadata capability and manage the Metadata Online Repository (METEOR). The successful candidate will lead a team to deliver a work program including:

providing advice to AIHW and external stakeholders for metadata for publication on the AIHW Metadata Online Registry (METEOR)
supporting the ongoing administration of the METEOR platform including Servicedesk, workgroup and user management.
managing the secretariat for AIHW’s National Health Data and Information Standards Committee (NHDISC).
applying standards based best practice to METEOR, metadata, business rules and standard operating procedure development
providing strategic advice to the Unit Head on technical matters related to the work program.
