Business Development Executive - Retail Field SalesLocation: Northeastern Suburbs & Semi-Regional Victoria (Whittlesea to Kew, Mansfield, Alexandra/Yea)Your ImpactAs a Business Development Executive (BDE) at Asahi Beverages, you'll be the face of our brands in-store, driving growth across our multi-beverage portfolio. Covering the northeastern suburbs of Melbourne and select regional areas, you'll grow distribution, volume, and profitability by building strong customer relationships and delivering best-in-class execution. This is your chance to make an impact with both our alcohol and non-alcohol brands, including Schweppes, Gatorade, Solo, and leading liquor portfolios.Key Accountabilities
  • Manage a defined territory across independent retail and liquor outlets (IGA, Foodworks, Celebrations, Bottle-O, Thirsty Camel).
  • Deliver against sales targets and KPIs by growing distribution, securing displays, and driving promotional compliance.
  • Average 5 customer calls per day, building in-store visibility, upselling promotions, and executing banner programs.
  • Travel within territory, including metro suburbs and fortnightly regional runs (Mansfield, Alexandra/Yea).
  • Build effective long-term customer relationships through regular call coverage, reviews, and insights.
  • Monitor performance against KPIs, focusing on distribution, depletions, and off-location displays during key periods (e.g. footy finals, summer promotions).
  • Uphold safety and wellbeing standards while working autonomously in the field.
About You
  • Previous field sales experience in FMCG, ideally across both alcohol and non-alcohol portfolios.
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills; confident selling value propositions and driving in-store impact.
  • Open to candidates from retail, liquor, or customer-facing roles with transferable skills.
  • Highly self-motivated with strong organisational skills, comfortable working independently across a wide territory.
  • Resilient, accountable, and proactive - able to adapt quickly and deliver results in fast-paced environments.
  • Current driver's licence required.
