Reporting to the Managing Director, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of the manufacturing operations, ensuring quality production and compliance within standards and regulations. With a state of the art facility and investment in technology, you will have the tools and support needed to contribute to the growth of the business. There is always room for improvement and we are seeking an experienced manager who can bring ideas and continue to grow with the business. Responsibilities include:
- Optimize efficiency and resource allocation in production
- Track and manage inventory
- Improve processes for cost-effective and sustainable production
- Manufacturing process & quality compliance and documentation
- Staff training, management and development (team of 9)
- Maintenance scheduling
- Various projects as required by the business

The hours are full time (40 hours per week) 5.30am - 2.30pm Monday to Thursday and an early finish on Friday 12.30pm.Your Background
We are seeking a collaborative people manager who is passionate about technology and continuous improvement. The business is specialised and it is unlikely you will have industry experience, however, experience with HACCP dangerous goods would be highly regarded. You will also need to be tech savvy! Ideally you will possess the following skills, attributes and experience;
- Manufacturing experience
- Strong people management skills
- Process, quality and compliance focus
- Procurement and supply experience
- Collaborative approach - work as part of a wider team to achieve outcomes
