Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31st December 2026.Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of six (6) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.Position Profile: We are currently seeking to recruit enthusiastic and suitably qualified individuals to Senior Podiatrist roles within the RPBG Podiatry Department, including Moorditj Djena, Royal Perth Hospital and Bentley Health Service. This pool will initially be used to fill any vacancies within the Moorditj Djena program but may also be used to fill other vacancies that arise within the RPBG Podiatry Department. Applicants should be willing and able to work across all RPBG Podiatry services. In this position, successful applicants will work in community and hospital settings, as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide and coordinate culturally safe Podiatry services to patients, including the Aboriginal Community, using advanced clinical practice skills. Additionally, successful applicants will be responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating patient safety and quality of care. The Senior Podiatrist will practise as per the Podiatry Board of Australia Policies, Codes and Guidelines and apply evidence-based practice whilst ensuring practice is in accordance with relevant national and international guidelines as well as EMHS policies and guidelines.
