As a Service Technician you will:
- Diagnose, inspect, repair, and service heavy diesel equipment and machinery.
- Perform engine overhauls, hydraulic and electrical system repairs, and general maintenance tasks.
- Accurately document work completed, including parts used, time taken, and fluids consumed.
- Interpret and work from technical drawings and schematics.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols and company procedures.
- Provide professional and customer-focused service, identifying and communicating solutions.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills.
- Deliver expert service and support to our customers and partners
- Contribute to a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement
We're looking for someone who:
- Brings experience in heavy machinery Vermeer or similar equipment
- Holds relevant certifications or qualifications levant Trade Certificate - Heavy Diesel Fitter, Mobile Plant Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic or equivalent.
- Current and valid driver's licence.
- A proactive team player who takes ownership and drives results
- Strong diagnostic skills in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Solid IT capabilities for equipment diagnostics and reporting.
- Air-conditioning and/or Auto Electrical experience highly regarded.
- High attention to detail, especially in documentation and reporting.
- Professional, customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills
- Possession of additional tickets/licences (e.g. Forklift, EWP, Crane, Dogger, Rigger) highly desirable.
