Are you an experienced Cloud Engineer looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our client's team in Canberra. This is a permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary and the chance to work on complex enterprise-scale cloud projects.In this role, you will:

Drive end-to-end migration of on-premises systems to Microsoft Azure, from assessment through to optimisation.
Design and deliver secure, scalable, and resilient Azure-native infrastructure solutions.
Implement automation through Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and modern scripting practices.
Partner with application, security, and operations teams to enable seamless deployments.
Contribute to architecture reviews, cloud governance, and best practices.
Mentor team members and support knowledge sharing within the engineering group.
Document technical designs, processes, and handover materials.

What we're looking for:

Proven expertise across Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
Hands-on experience with migration tools (Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Arc).
Strong background in IaC (ARM Templates, Bicep, Terraform, Ansible).
Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines & DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of networking, security, and governance in Azure environments.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Sentinel).
Microsoft certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Administrator Associate are highly regarded.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience in Agile or DevOps delivery models.
