Experienced Community APD Dietitian/ Public Health Nutritionist required for this publicly funded service in the Northern Territory. You will join a small team allied health clinicians and cover the following caseload:
  • The caseload covers adults and paediatrics outpatients in the clinic and outreach to remote communities. The region is quite diverse in its population with high migrant population and high proportion of Aboriginal people. They work on a transdisciplinary model so generally two disciplines work together and travel together (eg PT and OT, SP and PT etc..)
  • The role requires case management skills, experience with adults & paediatrics and community education
  • The role involves occasional travelling to remote communities in the Big Rivers region by 4WD or light aircraft, staying overnight during weekdays.
  • Join a team of OTs, Speech Pathologist, Social Worker, Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistant, a Team Leader
  • ASAP start for 3 months + possible extension
  • Return travel reimbursed and free accommodation for locums.

Locum rates upto $80 per hour super (depending on experience).
