About us ...Ellerslie Farms Group is an agribusiness that operates one of the largest poultry farms in Australia.We employ over 400 people across our farming operations based at Millmerran, an hour west of Toowoomba in Queensland. Our operations are vertically integrated, covering the entire supply chain from grain production, chick rearing, stock feed milling, poultry production and egg grading. The applicant will be required to work in the existing team, under the direction of our current technical support staff, assisting the Maintenance Team - Grading Floor to contribute to meeting the business goals.Please visit www.dahall.com.au to learn more about who we are.About the Role ...A Maintenance Fitter on our Grading Floor works within an air-conditioned, state-of-the-art production facility equipped with advanced machinery. This includes Moba egg packing and grading systems, carton packing and palletising robotics, as well as a wide array of automation and process control equipment.Key Responsibilities

Proactively maintain production equipment and facilities to ensure they meet production targets and output requirements. Use a disciplined approach to preventive maintenance and equipment repair to support efficient plant and machinery operation.
Complete start-up and shut-down operations, and provide day-to-day production support.
Participate in the planned maintenance program using the company’s computerized maintenance management system.
Maintain compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Uphold a high standard of safety and safe working practices across all work areas.
Collaborate with a supportive team while working in rotating shift patterns, including weekends.

About You ...

Fitter qualification.
Experience in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
Ability to proactively plan and manage workload.
Solid physical capability.
A “can-do” attitude, with a willingness to work cooperatively and efficiently with all departments on the grading floor.
Willingness to assist contractors when necessary.
Accountability for completed work.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Reliability and flexibility to work additional hours due to unforeseen circumstances.
Effective communication skills.
Willingness to participate in relevant training to ensure ongoing compliance with company policies and procedures.
