Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the Auto Electrician will join our Perth Branch on a Full Time Basis. You will be assembling and reassembling electrical components, dealer provided option installations, new machine warranty work and electrical diagnoses.The Perth Branch Department at WesTrac specializes in providing cutting-edge machinery solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the mining and construction industry. Our team is dedicated to delivering innovative, reliable, and efficient Caterpillar equipment and service to enhance operational productivity and safety.Rosters on Offer: 5 days on, 2 days off - 10.5 (including a 30-minute meal break)2 weeks days - 06:00am-16:30pm1-week afternoons - 15:00pm-01:30amWhat You'll Do:

Identify and troubleshoot electrical problems in Caterpillar equipment using diagnostic tools
Work on assembling and reassembling various electrical parts and systems
Handle the installation of optional features and components

Skills & Experience:

Australian-recognised Auto Electrical Trade Certificate.
Previous experience working on heavy earthmoving equipment.
A dedicated attitude to safety and quality
Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
