- administering the leasing acquisition and disposal of City property assets;
- coordinating and administering the financial, and other tasks, associated with the City’s community and commercial tenancies;
- ensuring that accounts are accurately maintained;
- coordinating and administering the expressions of interest processes relating to disposal via a lease or licence; and
- coordinating and administering Trading Permits.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in administering community and commercial leasing and land related legal documentation.
- Sound understanding and interpretation of a range of legal documentation.
- Experience in a similar position in local or State government is desirable.
- Strong literacy skill, and experience in preparation, research and writing of reports.
- Sound working knowledge of local government procedures and practices.
- Sound knowledge of property and asset management practices.
- Working knowledge of Local Government Act 1995, and Land Administration Act 1997 and associated regulations.
- Working knowledge of the Commercial Tenancies Act 1995.
- Sound research and evaluation skills.
- Strong commitment to internal and external customer service.
- Well-developed interpersonal, including consultation and negotiation, written and verbal communication skills.
