Supporting a diverse white- and blue-collar workforce of approximately 2,000, this business is on an aggressive growth trajectory and is seeking strong, future-focused People & Culture Business Partner to join this dynamic, fast-paced business.About The RoleWith a recent acquisition, this role will focus on delivering HR support across both businesses and their associated entities. You’ll play a key role in delivering people initiatives and leading HR across our growing businesses.
This is a hands-on, rewarding, and high-impact role that offers the opportunity to tackle complex challenges in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Your every day:
  • Coordinate the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with documentation and HR processes, and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Manage complex ER/IR matters including grievances, investigations, performance management, redundancies, and enterprise agreement negotiations, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Manage promotions, allowances, bonuses, and HR documentation; regularly engage with site teams to maintain strong HR presence and compliance with internal procedures.
  • Deliver performance review training, support leadership capability building, and ensure inclusive recruitment and development processes.
  • Oversee performance reviews, succession planning, salary reviews, and support managers in developing and retaining high-performing teams.
  • Lead monthly reporting, contribute to senior leadership meetings, and support strategic initiatives and tender submissions aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead initiatives that promote employee engagement, foster employee connection and teamwork.

  • Demonstrated HR experience within a recycling, transport, logistics, manufacturing or trades business
  • Proven ability to influence and advise leaders on people related decisions
  • Sound understanding and interpretations of EBA’s & Awards within heavy industries

  • A track record of building initiatives that bring people together, especially across functions and multiple sites.
