- Coordinate the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with documentation and HR processes, and maintain accurate employee records.
- Manage complex ER/IR matters including grievances, investigations, performance management, redundancies, and enterprise agreement negotiations, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
- Manage promotions, allowances, bonuses, and HR documentation; regularly engage with site teams to maintain strong HR presence and compliance with internal procedures.
- Deliver performance review training, support leadership capability building, and ensure inclusive recruitment and development processes.
- Oversee performance reviews, succession planning, salary reviews, and support managers in developing and retaining high-performing teams.
- Lead monthly reporting, contribute to senior leadership meetings, and support strategic initiatives and tender submissions aligned with business objectives.
- Lead initiatives that promote employee engagement, foster employee connection and teamwork.
- Demonstrated HR experience within a recycling, transport, logistics, manufacturing or trades business
- Proven ability to influence and advise leaders on people related decisions
- Sound understanding and interpretations of EBA’s & Awards within heavy industries
- An approachable, down-to-earth nature and willingness to roll up your sleeves and get to know our operations.
- A track record of building initiatives that bring people together, especially across functions and multiple sites.
