  • Drive the implementation of the Child Safeguarding Strategy, embedding trauma-informed practices and child-centred decision-making
  • Embed systems to ensure decision-making and policy align to the principles of child safeguarding and trauma-informed practice
  • Build organisational capability to assess and manage risks to children, including the management of child related investigations
  • Lead the development of a healthy reporting culture where concerns about child safety and wellbeing are raised and addressed confidently
  • Provide expert guidance on child safe standards, reporting obligations, and high-risk safety matters to senior leaders and teams
  • Promote continuous improvement by strengthening quality assurance systems, monitoring compliance, and ensuring MACSEYE meets legislative requirements
QualificationsWe’re looking for a proven leader with the expertise, knowledge, and passion to champion child safeguarding and drive best practice across MACSEYE.Key requirements:Tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology, or another human services disciplineStrong experience leading workplace investigations and developing policy, programs, and strategy at a senior levelIn-depth understanding of Victorian Child Safe Standards, Reportable Conduct Scheme, and mandatory reporting obligationsExceptional leadership, collaboration, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence change across a multi-site organisationHighly organised, with the capability to manage competing priorities while embedding trauma-informed, child-centred practicesAdditional InformationWhat’s in it for you?
