About the roleThis is a permanent, full-time position within the Water and Sewerage team, based at Council’s Moruya administration office. The successful candidate will lead the Projects Team in delivering the Water and Sewerage capital works program. Responsibilities include overseeing project planning, procurement, contractor management, and stakeholder engagement to support Council’s operations and strategic goals.The salary range for this position is up to $128,000.36 per annum plus 12% superannuation.To view the salary information and prerequisites, please view the .About youYou will be a confident and experienced project manager with 5–7 years of success delivering capital works projects, ideally in the water and sewerage industry. You will oversee the planning, execution and delivery of our capital works program. This is a key leadership role that will ensure major infrastructure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality program delivery. Your application should highlight your ability to:
Lead the end-to-end delivery of capital works projects, including water and wastewater infrastructure upgrades, renewals, and new infrastructure.
Manage project teams, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Oversee budget planning, forecasting, and cost control for capital projects.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with local councils, government bodies, and community stakeholders..
A Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
