This is a hands-on delivery role focused on driving outcomes in a complex vendor environment. The program is replacing a legacy content container eDOCS with OpenText, and the immediate priority is ensuring successful delivery through strong vendor management.In addition, you'll provide support on a data-heavy AI roadmap project, giving you exposure to emerging technologies such as machine learning and generative AI.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project delivery through the implementation phase of the IM Content Platform uplift.
- Lead vendor management, ensuring coordination and accountability across multiple Astral teams.
- Drive governance, risk, and issue resolution to maintain project momentum.
- Engage and collaborate with internal stakeholders including architects, business analysts, and the CIO's office.
- Provide input into a parallel AI strategy project, with a focus on data and practical applications of AI.
We're looking for a Project Manager who brings:
- Proven vendor management expertise, ideally with Astral.
- Experience delivering content management / information maturity uplift projects.
- OpenText platform experience (highly regarded).
- Strong stakeholder engagement and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with AI/GenAI/Co-Pilot tools (desirable but not essential).
- Location: Brisbane (hybrid flexibility available).
- Contract term: Until end of May 2026 (~9 months).
- Start date: ASAP - ideally before end of September.
