Join GHDWorking with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
  • Interacting with engineers and approvals specialists to provide innovative solutions to marine and aquatic ecological issues.
  • Analysing met-ocean/oceanographic and water quality data.
  • Undertaking three-dimensional hydrodynamic modelling and two-dimensional spectral wave modelling.
  • Undertaking numerical modelling for dredging, wastewater discharges and oil spills.
  • Supporting our Maritime and Coastal teams in delivering coastal numerical modelling assessments.
  • Provision of environmental advice to clients.
  • Contributing to the preparation of high-quality proposals and technical reports.
  • Collaborating effectively with project team members to ensure successful client experience in project delivery.
  • Participation in meetings with clients, regulators, and subcontractors.
What you will bring to the team:
  • Bachelor degree qualifications in Environmental Engineering.
  • Experience with numerical modelling software (MIKE software suite preferred).
  • Experienced analyst of met-ocean/oceanographic and water quality data.
  • Efficient data management, mathematical and data analysis competencies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills, including experience in the preparation of reports for clients and/or regulators.
