Base rate $27.07 per hour plus penaltiesAbout The RoleEnvironmental Services has a large team of multi-skilled staff working across Ballarat. Our core work areas are at the Ballarat Base Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Centre. Staff can work in acute, sub-acute, Aged care, and Psychiatric services. Our staff work varying hours, mainly day shift, afternoon shift but there is night shift involved in the roles on occasion too, there is also weekend shifts required. The roles are primarily cleaning with certain positions also assisting with meal delivery. There are opportunities to also take on higher duties like Patient Services Assistant.Key Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize toilets and basins, perform routine cleaning, mop and vacuum floors, spot clean carpets and upholstery, and dust all surfaces to ensure a thorough and hygienic environment.
Prepare toast and heat porridge, cook other meals as required, and take out the cassette from the Burlodge. (Shift dependant)
Distribute tea, coffee, and meals to the appropriate areas, collect used food trays, and manage food trolleys to ensure efficient service. (Shift dependant)

Skills and experience

Previous experience in the following is desirable - cleaning, food services, customer service and team work, new employees would need to meet Grampians Health requirements
HLTFSE001 - Follow Basic Food Safety Practices (essential)
