Job Description:How will I help?This role is part of our EmPower Up return to work program, created for people who have had career break of 2 years or more and are now looking to return to the workforce.This role will be responsible for leading an end-to-end solution architecture for the major projects in Enterprise Services domain. Key responsibilities will include development, maintenance and communication of the solution architecture plans for each project and how it aligns to the overall IT Strategy, ensuring effective architecture strategy is developed and maintained.Some responsibilities include:
  • Develop, maintain and communicate high level plans for investing in the IT environment/ infrastructure, for allocated portfolio to ensure effective architecture strategy is developed and maintained
  • Manage architecture development and governance processes for allocated portfolio to promote effective governance and solution quality within architecture
  • Ensure
aligns with roadmaps established by the enterprise architecture and adhere to enterprise architecture principles * Convert requirements into the architecture and design that make up the blueprint for the solution, balancing architectural concerns of the projects with the concerns of the enterprise
  • Lead the development of solutions for allocated portfolio to ensure effective solutions are designed in accordance with business requirements, Westpac Group standards and IT Strategy
  • Build and apply knowledge of emerging technologies and take a continuous improvement approach to ensure Westpac remains innovative and up to date with market leading technologies and industry trends

  • Significant experience in solutions architecture in IT Industry/financial services or business consulting/strategic planning
  • Ability to translate business needs into enterprise architecture requirements
  • Experience across multiple architecture domains, including the implementation of architecture in large organisations required to ensure balanced solutions
  • Demonstrable experience in the (Human Resources) HR technology domain covering two or more HR Sub Domains and/or Payroll
  • Experience in PaaS/SaaS HR platforms - Oracle HCM, Oracle eBusiness Suite experience highly preferred
  • Understanding of cloud native application characteristics, and how architectures can deliver them, and demonstrable knowledge of Integration Design (real-time and batch)
  • Experience in solutioning and implementing modern technologies ( eg ambient intelligent, business workflow, Artificial Intelligence) for industry leading organisations.
  • Strong knowledge of Enterprise Architect disciplines and frameworks (e.g. TOGAF).
