Eligibility: Open to EveryoneAbout the Role:The Data and Spatial Officer within the Planning and Business Support team will support the establishment and maintenance of information anddata management systems (including spatial systems), ensuring the capture of accurate and relevant information to assist with natural resources management planning, decision making,performance monitoring, evaluation and reporting. The role will also be responsible for ensuring the spatial analysis, information capture and management needs of regional staff are met,through advice, training and the provision of information and data management services.What can we offer you!

Contract:
Contract for up to 24 MonthsEssential Qualifications:A tertiary qualification in environment, conservation, evaluation, information management or a related NRM science discipline (desirable).Special Conditions:
  • Position is based in Port Lincoln
  • A current minimum class C driver’s licence and willingness and ability to safely operate a 4WD is required.
  • Will have the opportunity to participate in fire management or associated duties.
  • Some out of hours work and intrastate travel involving overnight absences from home may be required.
  • Required to work alone in a field environment, including working in adverse weather conditions from time to time.
  • Actively participate in the Board’s Performance Development and Review Program.
  • Contribute to a safe workplace by accepting responsibility for own and others’ safety, identifying and reporting hazards, and participating in consultation about health and safety matters.
  • This role has been designated as a Position of Trust pursuant to the standards required in the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework. By applying for this role you consent to being screened under the process of obtaining a National Police Clearance (NPC).
Remuneration:
ASO4 $76,561min - $80,256max p.a., pro rata for part time hours.Enquiries to:
