NLS is NSW's number-one provider of sports coaches for schools, clubs, OSHC and Councils.We are looking for Water Polo coaches in Sydney to join our team, we have roles based in Sydney CBD, Eastern Suburbs, Inner West & North ShoreAll of our coaches must have (or be willing to apply for) a current Working with Children check. Coaching experience isn't necessary (although it is preferred) but a good knowledge and playing experience of the sport is required.ScheduleTo coach before or after school with Saturday morning games from September - DecemberQualifications & Experience
- Sports coaching / playing experience
- PAID Working with Children (WWC) Check
- Child Protection Training (Preferred)
- First Aid + CPR Training (Preferred)
- Sports Coaching
- Attend and conduct all training sessions
- Attend and facilitate all competition games (As Required)
- Being Reliable and Organised
- Knowledge of standard coaching practices
- Independently handle multiple sporting priorities
- Interpersonal skills to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships & communicate clearly & effectively with students, staff, administrators, and at times parents / guardians
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and handle confidential matters with tact and diplomacy, and to maintain confidentiality of information as needed or to protect the rights of individual students
- Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse community
