Access theAbout the rolePermanent full time opportunity to manage the planning, development and negotiation of procurement activities for Clinical Services across MNHHS in a client focussed and transparent manner including subsequent contract management to ensure ongoing performance of suppliers and that the obligations of MNHHS are fulfilled. The role will be involved in the delivery of Clinical Services procurement and contract management activities for MNHHS covering a broad range of categories and will be the designated contract manager for all external medical imaging contracts.About youOur ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
  • Protection of Metro North reputation by ensuring highest standard possible is achieved in procurement activities including probity, accountability, and transparency.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of procedures, processes and work instructions to support the Clinical Services category.
  • Manage the documentation requirements for procurement activities within applicable file management systems (eg Sharepoint and QContracts).
  • Actively promote and communicate MNHHS procurement and contract management strategies to staff to promote efficiencies and adherence to the relevant MNHHS and State Government policies and procedures.
