- Supervise the structural assembly and erection of transmission towers, ensuring compliance with engineering designs, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage site activities related to tower construction, including material delivery, resource allocation, and equipment usage.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure adherence to legislative, company, and project-specific safety regulations.
- Conduct site inspections to assess quality, identify potential hazards, and address construction challenges.
- Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of construction phases.
- Provide technical guidance and hands-on leadership to crews, ensuring productivity and efficiency.
- Monitor progress and report any delays, risks, or deviations from the project plan to management.
- Train and mentor junior supervisors and field personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily reports, progress records, and incident reports.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.
- Resolve site issues, including weather delays, technical challenges, and workforce management concerns.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in transmission line construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- HRWL in Dogging, Rigging
- Experience Supervising cranes and lifting operations
- Tower climbing and rescue qualification
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and quality control procedures in the transmission sector.
- First Aid and CPR Certification
- Working at Heights qualification
- In-depth knowledge of tower erection techniques, rigging, and high-voltage transmission line construction.
