Join us as a Picker or EWP Operator at our clientu0027s avocado orchards and play a vital role in harvesting Avocados, both ground picking or using Elevated Work Platforms (EWPs). Youu0027ll ensure high-quality fruit and maintain strict safety standards.Picker Key Responsibilities:

Harvest Avocado either ground picking
Inspect Avocado for quality and adhere to picking standards.
Safely operate and maintain picking equipment.
Transport harvested Avocado to collection points.
Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness.
Report issues promptly to management.

Packer Position Summary: As a Packer, youu0027ll be responsible for sorting, grading, and packing avocados in our pack shed. Ensure packed avocados meet quality standards and adhere to safety protocols.Packer Key Responsibilities:

Sort, grade, and pack according to size, quality, and ripeness.
Label and record packed products accurately.
Operate packing machinery safely and efficiently.
Perform quality checks to meet company standards.
Maintain pack shed cleanliness and equipment.
Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents.

EWP Operator Responsibilities:

Harvest avocados by working at heights using a cherry picker/EWP
Inspect avocados for quality and adhere to picking standards.
Safely operate and maintain machinery.
Transport harvested avocados to collection points.
Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness.
Report issues promptly to management.

Skills & Qualifications:

Previous experience in fruit picking (avocados preferred).
Ability to work at heights and experience in safely operating EWPs.
Understanding of WHS standards and quality control.
Physical fitness and stamina for manual labor.
Attention to detail and good communication skills.
Valid driveru0027s license and own vehicle.

Performance Goals:

Meet daily and weekly picking targets.
Maintain high-quality standards with minimal errors.
Adhere strictly to safety protocols.
Ensure equipment is well-maintained.
Suitable for Working Holiday Visa holders seeking to complete their regional work. Typically, 10-12hr working days, Mon-Sat if weather and conditions allow.
Hourly wage is $30.35+
