If you are looking for a relaxed town where you can have a direct positive impact on the community then this might be the town for you.The importance of this roleAs a Personal Care Worker, you will enjoy assisting residents with both high and low care needs. Our community has a variety of shifts available and you will be working a mixture of Morning, Afternoon and Evening Shifts including weekends. Staff are supportive of Residents, to live their best lives, in a clean and fun environment.Our moto is "team work, makes the dream, work!"During your varied day you will:
  • Provide personal care and physical and emotional support to residents who require assistance with daily living;
  • Participate in the development and review of resident care plans; complete charting and report any observed changes to resident health to the Registered Nurse;
  • Maintain the personal dignity and privacy of all residents, their representatives and staff, and ensure that all interaction with residents and their representatives are treated confidentially;
  • Support and assist in the provision of a comfortable, safe and secure environment;
  • Undertake and complete tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum of 30 hours, per fortnight, 5 shifts.
  • Opportunity to pick up extra shifts.
What you can bring to the teamYou have a compassionate nature and love being around and caring for seniors. You are a positive individual who works well with others and are happy to support your fellow team members.Your experience and qualifications for this role should include:
  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or Certificate III in Aged Care;
  • Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including morning afternoons and nights across a 7-day week;
  • Current National Police and NDIS Check or the ability to obtain.
