A team of like-minded individuals who thrive to deliver outstanding work to help residents of NSW.About the RoleThe primary purpose of the role is to be responsible for the inspection of work completed by contractors and sub-contractors engaged in operational worksKey accountabilities include:

Responsible for the provision of specialised/technical services
Demonstrates visible leadership and encourages others to perform at their best.
Lead a team of contractors and sub-contractors requiring the review and approval of work performed by others.
Adhere to relevant legislative requirements, policies, and current standards.
As required represent Council to the public or other organisations.
Utilise effective communication and persuasive skills when providing advice.
Daily inspection of work completed by contractors maintaining and restoring the civil asset work program.
Assist in interviews for permanent and casual staff and induct new staff.
Complete customer request investigations, organised completion of works, if required, and upload completion reports
Carry out compliance inspections of vehicular crossings, asset restorations and the Works Improvement Program
Carry out cost estimates and manage work order processes, including inspecting work completed by contractors.

About You

Experience with civil asset maintenance
Experience as a Project Officer
Trade qualification or Certificate IV in a related field
Extensive experience in the application of skills in all aspects of the job
Stakeholder engagement experience
Current class ‘C’ driver's licence
3x Covid Vaccinations
