You will be responsible to provide property underwriting services to the broker market. To liaise with brokers and internal staff on policy
terms and conditions and assist the company in marketing its brand to the broker network.What you'll get in return

- Review and issue terms for renewals, new quotes, alterations and cancellations in accordance with company underwriting guidelines
- Identify and assess the underwriting criteria and classification for risks to determine acceptance and terms to be applied
- Acting within delegated authority limits and referring internally/externally when required
- Identifying potential for and developing new client relationships
- undertaking actions which meet and/or exceed client expectations
- Influence outcomes that maximise potential for long term relationships
- Maintains and demonstrates sound knowledge of clients, business and industries
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Tier 1/2 accreditation
- Previous experience in Underwriting OR Broking - Working on Australian insurance products
- Demonstrating the ability to work effectively in a team/work group or those outside the formal line of authority
- A high degree of organisational skills and the ability to adapt quickly to change
- Ability to deal with multiple tasks whilst meeting reporting deadlines
- Ability to communicate at all levels in a multiple stakeholder environment- liaison with clients, external service providers and other departments
