- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of developers across various skill levels.
- Define and uphold development standards, best practices, and the software development lifecycle.
- Provide technical leadership in full-stack development, DevOps, and cloud technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
- Drive innovation by staying ahead of industry trends and integrating emerging technologies.
- Promote a strong Agile and DevOps culture, including CI/CD, code reviews, and testing practices.
- Ensure security compliance and manage vulnerability remediation across development efforts.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and employee engagement.
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven leadership experience in managing and mentoring development teams.
- Strong technical proficiency in JavaScript, Python, Java, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js).
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps tools (e.g., GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker).
- Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and SAFe practices.
- Proven ability to lead software design, development, and implementation initiatives.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, and scripting in Linux/Unix environments.
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrated ability to foster team growth, manage performance, and drive delivery excellence.
