Company ProfileAn opportunity to join a well established, award winning Australian Commercial construction company who work on mixed commercial projects up to $40 million.They run a harmonious, dedicated project team who are focussed, but who also enjoy a business offering mixed more niche projects including live school projects, heritage residential and recreational facilities and larger government schemes. As part of a team you will ideally have previous exposure, in a similar capacity working for an Australian recognised builder.As a Project administrator, you will join a company with a steady portfolio of upcoming projects which cross the marketplace from Residential to Commercial to Industrial.Responsibilities
  • Building & Construction Industry
  • Experience with CHEOPS
  • Experience with Procore
  • Experience with WageEasy
  • Experience with the Building & Construction Industry Award
  • Understanding of the Security of Payments Act
  • MS Excel
  • Experience with Processing Invoices & Subcontractor Claims (both entry and payment)
  • Creating new Creditors (both Subcontractor & Supplier)
  • Processing Accounts Payable Runs
  • Managing multiple bank accounts for making payments from
  • Entering Subcontractor Bank Guarantees into CHEOPS and releasing upon request
  • Maintaining Subcontractor Insurance Records (Public Liability & Workers Compensation)
  • Weekly & Monthly Payroll for Site Employees
  • Reconciliations of:
  • Supplier Statements
  • Credit Card Statement
  • Bank Statements
  • Be client facing and involved in meetings.
  • Provide general assistance to project managers.
Skills and experience
  • 1-2 Years plus experience or work experience as a Contracts Administrator for an Australian Recognised Contractor.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Initiative and be goal-oriented
  • You must be a team player
  • Ambitious and interested in company growth
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
  • C.H.E.O.P.S, PROCORE proficiency.
