Food Manufacturing Maintenance Electrician
  • Full Time permanent position
  • Shift - Day Shift, Monday -Friday 6am-2/3pm.
  • Hourly rate- $55-60ph
  • OT rate- time and half for first 2 hours, double time after that
  • Every second Saturday OT + more if interested
  • Must be Citizen or PR
We're looking to hire a permanent Maintenance Electrician on behalf of our client, a successful, well known, food manufacturer. Due to the nature of the role, a background in food manufacturing maintenance is essential. The company produces arrange of supermarket sold small goods and have high standards in the quality of their products and stuff.The roleAs a skilled Maintenance Electrician, the role will have you undertake a variety of tasks ranging from project work & insulations through to general and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and problem solving.Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the day-to-day efficient running of Plant Equipment.
  • Maintenance of plant and equipment inc; Preventative maintenance.
  • Diagnostics and fault finding.
  • Process improvement of plant and equipment.
  • Operate & Service Machinery.
  • Provide technical support to the production team.
  • Promote and adhere to Quality, OHS, GMP and HACCP guidelines.
Experience:
  • Trade Qualified with a minimum of 4 years maintenance experience in a similar role in Manufacturing environments.
  • Experience using CMMS systems.
  • Hands on with an enthusiastic attitude
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Work autonomously and be a self-starter to be a part of an engaged team.
  • Forklift licence is an advantage.
