You’ll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world.A Day in the Life We have an exciting role for a Repair Technician to join our diverse and collaborative Service & Repair (S&R) team based at our Huntingwood site.You will be responsible for providing technical support in areas such as production, operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement or product development. Uses schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions or defined plans to perform testing and troubleshooting on electronic or mechanical components, equipment or systems. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data using established formulae and procedures, and performs detailed mathematical calculations.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:Performs in-house servicing and repair of company products at established company repair site or service center.Diagnoses mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures using established procedures.Performs maintenance, testing and calibration of repaired products.Prepares reports for analysis of product failure trends and service ability issues.May communicate with field-based technicians for details helpful to failure diagnostics or repair, but generally without direct client contact.Required Knowledge and Experience:Requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; requires vocational or technical education (Biomedical, Electrical, Mechanical or similar) to prior work experience.Being able to put patient safety first by having a quality mindsetKnowledgeable in SAP systemRequires competent knowledge of systems, techniques and procedures obtained through prior work experience or education.Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environmentPhysical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.Benefits & CompensationMedtronic offers a competitive Salary and flexible Benefits Package
