This role involves overseeing contract performance, compliance, and supporting dispute resolution processes. You'll be working within a high-performing team ensuring government building contracts are delivered to a high standard.Key Responsibilities
Oversee traditional and non-traditional contract administration processes.
Conduct regular site inspections and manage site meetings.
Issue variation orders and assess contractual claims.
Handle contractors' requests for information and ensure Building Act compliance.
Support the Superintendent in dispute resolution processes.
Implement and maintain post-contract evaluation systems.
Communicate effectively with clients and project teams regarding time, cost, and quality.
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA procedures.
Uphold employment equity and workplace health and safety standards.
To Be Successful You Must Have
Strong knowledge of contract administration practices.
Experience in managing government building contracts (highly desirable).
Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.
Sound understanding of contract compliance, reporting, and construction processes.
Ability to manage time, prioritise effectively, and make informed decisions.
