Job DescriptionCareFlight is an Australian aeromedical charity, dedicated to providing the highest standard of rapid response critical care to the community. Their mission is to save lives, speed recovery and serve the community by providing the best possible outcomes for patients in need. Based in Northmead, CareFlight are now seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager, Fundraising to lead their fundraising team and strategy into the future.As the General Manager, Fundraising, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing CareFlight's fundraising strategy to support their life-saving work. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate and strategic leader to drive fundraising efforts, ensuring CareFlight can continue to deliver its vital services to the Australian community.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy, encompassing a range of channels including corporate partnerships, major gifts, community fundraising, bequests, and digital campaigns.
  • Lead, mentor, and expand the fundraising team to achieve ambitious fundraising targets.
  • Forge and maintain strong relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners to ensure ongoing support for CareFlight.
  • Monitor and report on fundraising trends and adjust strategies as necessary to maximise revenue generation.
  • Ensure all fundraising activities are conducted in an ethical manner, compliant with fundraising regulations and best practices.
About You:
  • Proven experience in a senior fundraising role, with a track record of achieving and exceeding fundraising targets.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving shared goals.
  • Excellent relationship management skills, with experience in building and maintaining partnerships across a variety of stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker, with the ability to develop and implement effective fundraising strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a flair for engaging diverse audiences.
  • A commitment to the values and mission of CareFlight, with a passion for making a difference in the community.
