Access theAs the Application Manager, you will ensure the Application is operating in line with relevant application management policies and standards in alignment with documented and approved governance processes. In addition, you will coordinate change management activities to appropriately prioritise system changes, including bug fixes, enhancements and upgrades. This includes managing acceptance testing to maximise value from the support and maintenance arrangements and any future system changes.About youWe are searching for someone with:
- Demonstrated expert level skills and experience in managing clinical and non-clinical applications and their integration with business requirements and technical environment in a large and complex service delivery environment. (SFIA: TECH Levels 6,7).
- Demonstrated ability to develop and promote Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) processes based on the ITIL framework, primarily incident / problem / change / release / configuration management. (SFIA code: ITMG 6; USUP 5; CHMG 5).
- Demonstrated ability to manage diverse activities and priorities across organisational boundaries to ensure that service delivery meets agreed service levels in a customer focused ICT environment. Experience in negotiating and managing contracts and service level agreements with emphasis on a strong customer focus. (SFIA: SLMO Level 5).
- Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people including senior business and technical stakeholders to make decisions. (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing).
